Instructor: Greg Manley

Art Therapy for Adults
with special needs

Participants  will learn to use ART as a therapeutic resource.  Students will use ART as a creative tool to express, communicate, heal and grow.  The focus will be on the therapeutic value rather than the finished art project.  A variety of materials will be used, pencils, markers, paints, clay and more.  Projects will be based on individual needs.

In 1984, after graduation from Western Illinois University with a degree in art education, a minor in psychology and master work in art therapy. Greg Manley moved to Brandon. Greg has been an art teacher for Hillsborough County Schools since 1984. He has taught at Armwood High School since 1990.
