Instructor: Judy Johnson
In this ongoing class for all levels, students will learn the techniques of working with oils. Beginning students may select a seascape or a floral for their project, while experienced students will receive assistance painting their own choice of subject.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Judy has been a resident of Florida since 1972. She now makes her home in Riverview, Florida. Her primary medium is oil on canvas, but as a painter of miniatures, oil on ivorine is her first choice. She also enjoys working with colored pencil. For many years she taught oil painting classes her at Center Place.
Judy enters and sells her brilliant miniatures in competitions all over the US. She is an active member of the Brandon League of Fine Arts, is on the board of the Miniature Art Society of Florida, and a member of the National League of American Pen Women.
